The November 29th meeting of the Board of Selectmen was called to order at 6:30 PM by Chairman Soter with all members in attendance.
Mr. Soter opened the continued Public Hearing for the Tax Classification which was originally opened on November 20th.
On a Connor/Spencer motion, the Board voted four in favor and Mr. Soter opposed to maintaining a tax split of .89. Under discussion, Mr. Soter expressed his desire to broaden the split to lessen the residential tax rate.
On a Connor/McNulty motion, the Board unanimously voted to award the contract for the Cross Street Replacement Well 1R to Barbato Construction Co., Inc. of Ayer, MA who submitted the low bid for this project, all as recommended by Mr. DiMartino.
On a McNulty/Spencer motion, the Board unanimously voted to adjourn the meeting at 6:40 PM.
